163 the Twenty first day of September in the Year of our Lord God seventeen hundred and sixty two, personally appeared before me, the within Names Wollman Gibson and did acknowledge the within Written Deed of Sale, and the Land and premisses in the same Deed contained unto the within Named John Gibson his Heirs and Assigns, to the only proper Use and Behoof of the said John Gibson his Heirs and Assigns for ever, according to the Form and Effect of the same Deed and the act of assembly in such case made and provided; In Testimony whereof I have hereunto put my hand the day and Year above written Jn.o Brice 1762 Sept.r 22.d Received of M.r John Gibson Two shillings sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within One hundred Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General Benj.a Beall 8 sides Recorded the 22.d September 1762 Ex.d This Indenture made this fourth day of September Anno Domini seventeen hundred and sixty two Between William Thomas of Talbot County Gentleman and Margaret his wife late Widow and Relict of John Edmondson of the same |
