       and Tenements and for the selling and assuring the same
       to and for the uses intents and purposes herein after limited
       expressed & Declared and in consideration of Five shillings
       to him in hand paid by the said George Layfield the receipt
       whereof is hereby Acknowledged and for divers other good
       Causes and Considerations him the said James Houston in
       this behalf moving  Hath granted bargained and sold
       released and confirmed, and by these presents Doth
       grant bargain and sell release and confirm unto the
       said George Layfield and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       All that the aforesaid Tract or parcel of Land called Scotts Lot
       scituated as aforesaid and bounded and limited as in and by
       the Original Grant thereof to one William Scot bearing date
       the twenty fourth day of June in the Year of our Lord one
       Thousand six hundred seventy Three (relation being had
       thereto may fully appear) containing one hundred Acres of
       Land be the same more or less (Together with all Messuages
       Improvements Proffits priviledges Hereditaments and
       Appurtenances unto the aforesaid parcell of Land belonging
       or in any manner appertaining and the Reversions and
       Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof or incidence there^un^to
       To have and to hold the aforesaid One hundred Acres of
       Land with the Messuages Tenements and Premisses above
       Mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with the
       Appurtenances unto the said George Layfield and his
       Heirs for ever   To the Intent and purpose only that
