        declare that she made this acknowledgement of her own free will
        and accord without threats or compulsion from her said Husband or fear
        of his displeasure

x.d  This Indenture made this twenty third Day of March
        in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty two Between
        Zacheus Onion of Baltimore County Gentleman of the one Part
        and John Greeniff Howard of Baltimore County aforesaid of the other
        Part Witnesseth that the said Zacheus Onion for and in consideration
        of the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid
        by the aforesaid John Greeniff Howard at or before the Sealing and
        Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge
        and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and Parcel
        thereof doth hereby release acquit and discharge the aforesaid John
        Greeniff Howard his Executors and Administrators Hath granted
        bargained and Sold and by these Presents Doth grant Bargain and
        Sell unto him the Said John Greeniff Howard his Executors Administrators
        and Assigns  All that Parcel of Land lying and being in Baltimore
        County aforesaid on the little Falls of Gunpowder River granted to a
        certain Stephen Onion deceased on or about the Seventeenth Day of
        August seventeen hundred and forty two pursuant and in Virtue
        of an Act of Assembly for the Encouragement of an Iron Manufacture
        within this Province  Beginning at a bounded red oak standing
        upon a Point on the North Side of the first Branch below the little
        Falls of Gunpowder River commonly called the Gravelly Run and
        running thence North forty one Degrees East forty Perches North twenty
        four Degrees West one hundred and eighty seven Perches North eighty Nine
        Degrees West sixteen Perches south thirty five Degrees West ^fifty^ four Perches
