(352) and Assigns that he the said Samuel Galloway and his Heirs the aforesaid Land and Premisses with its appurtenances unto the said Caleb Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Samuel Galloway and his Heirs and against all Persons claiming by from or under him the said Samuel Galloway or his Heirs shall and will well and truly Warrant and Defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably Set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Sam.l Galloway (seal) Thomas Richardson William Brogden Ju.r On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written to wit Received September 8.th 1761 of and from the within named Caleb Dorsey the Sum of Two thousand Pounds Sterling Money being in full for the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid to me Witnesses William Brogden Ju.r Sam.l Galloway Thomas Richardson Came the within named Samuel Galloway before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of Provincial Court of Maryland and did acknowledge the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses within mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within named Caleb Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and Provided acknowledged the 8th Sep.r 1761 Jn.o Brice 18 Septem.r 1761 Recd the Sum of Three Pounds twelve Shillings sterling being the Alienation Fine for the Land within mentioned for the use of the Lord Baltimore Recorded 18th Sep.r 1761 Edw.d Lloyd 6½ s.ds |
