             On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written To wit

       Received the Day and Year first within written of and from the within
       named Beale Bordley and Margaret his Wife the within Sum of
       Four hundred pounds Current Money of Maryland being the consideration
       money within mentioned to be by them paid to me
       Witness                                       I say Received by

       On this twenty Second Day of September 1759 Came before me the Subscriber one of
       his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Mary Chew and acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing to be her Act and Deed for the Uses within
       Mentioned and that the within Granted bargained and Sold Land and Premisses
       are the Right and Estate of the within named Beale Bordley and Margaret
       his Wife for their Natural Lives and of the Survivor of them and after their
       Decease are the Right and Estate of the Heirs of the said Margaret for ever according to the
       true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case
       made and Provided
          B Hands

       Sep.r the 25th 1759  Received of M.r Beale Bordley Nine Shillings and
       Eight Pence half penny Sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the
       Alienation fine on the within Mentioned Land) by Virtue of a Commission
7½ sides  from Edward Lloyd Esquire his Lordships Agent and Receiver General
       Recorded 25th Sep.r 1759                                          Rich.d Dorsey


x.d  This Indenture made this fifteenth day of February in the Year of our
       Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty nine Between Dryden Forbes of Saint
       Marys County Widow of the One Part and David Downie of Saint Marys County
       Planter of the other Part Witnesseth That the said Dryden Forbes for and in
       consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Current Money to her in hand paid at or
       before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby
