(289) Tilghman Earle Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Michael Earle and Mary his Wife Edward Tilghman and Juliana his Wife Henry Ward Pearce and Annastatia his Wife and Eleanor Carroll for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings Sterling to them in Hand paid at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and parcel thereof do and each of them doth hereby release acquit exonerate and discharge him the said Richard Tilghman Earle his heirs Exors Admrs and Assigns and every of them by these Presents Have and each of them Hath given granted bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed And by these Presents Do and each of them Doth give grant bargain Sell alien release enfeoffe and confirm unto him the said Richard Tilghman Earle his Heirs and assigns for ever All that Tract or parcel of Land lying and being in Frederick County called the five Daughters containing fifteen hundred Acres of Land more or less together with all Houses Buildings Gardens Orchards Ways Waters Water Courses Trees Woods Under Woods Profits Commodities Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever on the same Tract of Land being or to the same in any wise appertaining and the reversion and Reversions remainder and Remainders rents Issues and Profits of the said Premisses and every part and parcel thereof And all the Estate Right Title Interest Property ^Claim^ and Demand whatsoever of them the said Michael Earle and Mary his Wife Edward Tilghman and Juliana his Wife Henry Ward Pearce and Annastatia his Wife and Eleanor Carroll and every or either of them of in or to the said Premisses and every part thereof To have and To Hold the said Tract of Land and all and singular the Premisses abovementioned and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances unto the said Richard Tilghman Earle his heirs and assigns to the only proper Use and Behoofe of him the said Richard Tilghman Earle his heirs and assigns forever and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Michael Earle and Mary his Wife Edward Tilghman and Juliana his Wife Henry Ward Pearce (and) |
