(18) Life of the said Benjamin Beall in Such Sort manner and form as is in and by one Indenture intended to bear Date the Day next after the day of the date of these presents the same shall be Granted Released and Conveyed In Witness whereof the Parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably Set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Sealed and Delivered Jos Howard (seal) in the Presence of his Jn.o Brice Joseph Hill +++ Bailey (seal) William Lynch mark 5 sides Benj.a Beall (seal) Recorded Sept.r 17.th 1759 Ex.d Maryland To wit This Indenture Tripartite made this sixth day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Nine Between Joseph Howard of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman and Joseph Hill Bailey of Fairfax County in the Colony of Virginia Planter Son and Heir at Law of Robert Bailey Deceased of the one part Benjamin Beall of Annapolis Gentleman of the Second Part and Cornelius Garretson of Annapolis Breeches Maker of the third Part Witnesseth that the Said Joseph Howard and Joseph Hill Bailey for and in consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Lawfull Money of Great Britain to them in Hand paid by the Said Benjamin Beall at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for and in consideration of the further Sum of Twenty pounds Current Money of Maryland by the Said Joseph Howard to the said Joseph Hill Bailey in Hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is also hereby acknowledged Have Given Granted Released and Confirmed and by these Presents Do Give Grant Release and Confirm unto the said Benjamin Beall All that Tract or parcel (of) |
