(16) x.d To all Persons to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know Ye that whereas in this present Term in the Provincial Court there hath been had perfected and Suffered a Recovery in Order to Bar the Estate Tail of and into all that Tract of Land called Bashwood containing one thousand acres with the appurtenances in S.t Marys County of which said Lands George Slye of the Said County was the Tenant in Tail and in Which recovery Samuel Wilson was Demandant and the Writ of Entry brought against the said George Slye Now these Presents Witness that the said Samuel Wilson and George Slye for themselves their Heirs and Assigns do hereby severally declare and Witness that the said Recovery was so as aforesaid had Suffered and perfected to and for the only proper use of the said George Slye his Heirs and Assigns for ever and in order to Invest the said George Slye with a pure and indefeasible Estate of Inheritance in fee Simple of and into the Lands aforesaid with the appurtenances and for no other purpose whatever In Witness whereof the said Parties have hereto interchangeably Affixed their Hands and seals this fourteenth day of September in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty Nine Sealed and Delivered Sam.l Wilson (Seal) In Presence of MMacnemara George Slye (Seal) Turbutt Wright Be it Remembered that on the Day and Year above written the above Samuel Wilson and George Slye appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Severally acknowledged the above Instrument of Writing to be their Act and Deed for the above Purposes acknowledged before Geo Steuart 2½ sides Recorded 14.th Sep.r 1759 |
