(142) Robert Wilmott subscribed as Witnesses to the said Deed are of the proper Hand Writing of them the said James Moore and Robert Wilmott respectively and the said James Moore and Robert Wilmott also made Oath that they did Severally see the said William Lyon sign the Receipt above endorsed in the name of and as Attorney for the said David Jameson and that the names of James Moore and Robert Wilmott Subscribed as Witnesses thereto are of their proper Hand writing 6 sides Respectively N Ruxton Gay Recorded 23.d Sep.r 1760 W.m Rogert x.d This Indenture made this Fifth Day of July in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty Between David Jameson of the Town & County of York in the Colony of Virginia Merchant of the one part and William Green of the City of Williams Burgh in the Colony of Virginia aforesaid Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said David Jameson for and in consideration of the Sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds current money of Virgina to him the said David Jameson in Hand paid by the aforesaid William Green at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof whereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained sold released enfeooffed and confirmed & by these presents Doth grant bargain sell release enfeoff and confirm unto the said William Green in his Actual Possession now being by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made by the said David Jameson bearing Date the Day next before the day of the Date of these presents for one whole year commencing from the Day next before the Day of the Date thereof and by Force of the Statute for Transferring uses into possession his Heirs and assigns all that Lot of Ground Lying and being in Baltimore Town in Baltimore County in the province of Maryland Distinguished in the plat of the said Town by the Number Fourteen lately Occupied by a certain James Cary and by him sold and conveyed to the aforesaid David Jameson Together with all Edifices Buildings Gardens ways waters water courses commodities Priviledges Imp^r^ovements Emoluments advantages and appurtenances whatsoever to the same Lot of Ground belonging or appertaining and the Revertion and Revertions Remainder & Remainders (Rents) |
