x.d) This Indenture made this Twenty
       Eight day of April in the Year of our Lord
       one thousand seven hundred and twenty
       Between James Carroll of Annarundell
       County planter of the one Part and
       Caleb Dorsey of the aforesaid County
       planter of the other part Wittnesseth
       that the said James Carroll for and in consideration
       of the sum of five hundred pounds sterling to him
       in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Caleb
       Dorsey the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge
       and of every part and parcell thereof doth fully clearly
       and absolutely acquit Exonerate and Discharge the
       said Caleb Dorsey his heires Extors and Adm.rs by these
       prsents hath given granted bargained sold aliened
       Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these prsents
       doth for himself and his heires give grant bargain
       sell alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said
       Caleb Dorsey his heires and assignes for ever All
       That tract or parcell of Land formerly granted to
       Charles Carroll Esq.r the twentieth day of February
       one thousand seven hundred and six called New
       Years Gift lying at Elkridge in Baltemore County
       and by the said Charles Carroll Conveyed and made
       over to the said James Carroll partie to these prsents
       the bounds of which tract is as follows viz.t
       beginning at a bounded Poplar standing in a
       branch being a bounder of the Land called Majors
       Choice and running thence south seventy degrees
       Westwardly two hundred and eighty perches thence
       south West one hundred fourty and four perches
       to a bounded white Oak near the Draught of a
       branch thence West two hundred Perches to two
       bounded white oaks near a Draught of Elkhorne
       branch thence Northeast fifty perches to a bounded
       Red Oak thence North west two hundred and sixty
       perches to a bounded Spanish Oath of John Crosses
       Land thence North North East fifty eight
       perches to an other Spanish Oak thence North East
       by North to a bounded Red Oak Ninety four perches
       thence East South East sixty perches to a bounded
