505 about S.t Georges at Such a Time where I shall have gott & confirmed the same to me by patent wittness my hand 16.th May 1707 MVBebber Maryland June 12.th 1723 I Do certifie that the above is a true Copy from the originall which appears to be all the hand writing of the said Mathias Vanbebber Record.d 13.th 7.ber 1723 Exam.d by Ja Harris p.ll Justice Cop.d 7.ber 16.th p MVBebber x.d This Indenture made the Twenty Sixth Day of Aprill Annoq Dm One Thousand Seven hundred and twenty three Between Benjamin Wailes of Somersett County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one part & Betty Gale of the same county Gentlewoman of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Benjamin Wailes as well for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & nine pounds three shillings Currant Money of Maryland (to him in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Benjamin Wailes Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom Doth hereby Exonerate and Discharge the Said Betty Gale her Heirs ex.rs and administrators) And for Divers Other good causes and considerations him thereunto Moving Hath Granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed ^released^ and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoffe and confirm & Release unto the said Betty Gale and her heirs & assigns for ever all that peice or parcell of Land scituate lying and being in Prince Georges County in the said Province which the said Wailes purchased of a certain Charles Diggs and containing two Tracts the first whereof is Bounded as followeth Beginning at a Bounded Ash at the Mouth of a Small Branch being the beginning of a Tract of Land formerly in the possession of a certain Ignatius Craycroft running thence South fourteen Degrees Westerly forty four perches to a Marked White Oak thence South forty four perches to a wallnutt standing in the head of a Small Branch thence w.th the said branch East one Degree Southerly forty four perches thence south forty Degrees Easterly twelve perches thence east twelve Degrees southerly seventy two perches thence Due south thirty three perches thence South East twenty Eight perches thence East thirty four Degrees Southerly twelve perches thence east twenty five Degrees (south) |
