48 x.d On the back of a pat.t for six hundred acres of land granted to a certain Tho.s Bradnox the first day of Aug.t 1650 was endorst the foll.o assignments w.th at the req.t of Marmaduke Goodhand of Queen Anns Co.ty Gent is recorded as foll.s viz.t These presents Witnesseth that I Tho.s Bradnox of Kent doe acknowledge my self my heirs executors and assignes to have should ^sold^ unto Richard Bennet Esq.r to his heirs and assignes for ever all my Right tytle and intrest of four hundred acres of Land of this Land within menconed Marked and Bounded according to survey more or Less next adjoyning to the Land of the Widdow Cummins Notherly and Southerly upon the Remainder of the said pattent he or they paying yearly the Rent within Menconed To this Agreement of have sett my hand this 5.th September 1654 In presence of Th Tho.s T Bradnox Tho.s Hinson his marke Tho.s Ringgold Nath Sue I Richard Bennet of Virginia Merchant do hereby assigne and make over All My Right Title of three hundred Acres of the Land Menconed in this pattent unto Morgan Williams and his heirs for ever And one hundred Acres unto W.m Leeds and his heirs for ever the said Land being equally devided The said Morgan to have three fourths and W.m Leedes our fourth part thereof for w.ch Land of doe acknowledge to have Received full payment and satisfaction In Wittness whereof I have set my hand third day of May 1661 Richard Bennett In presence of Joseph Welkes Tho.s Brooke |
