386 Representative of the deceased Captain George Reid of Calvert County on the South Side of Petuxen River near a point called Point Patience in the countrey or province of Maryland And represented to us That the said Alexander Reid had proved his propinquity in Manner abovementioned to the said Deceased Capt.n George Reid by certain famous wittnesses confirme to their depositions extant in the Registers of the City of Aberdeen Subscribed by each of the said witnesses before the Magistrates of Aberdeen upon the Twenty and Twenty fourth days of Aprill One Thousand six hundred and Ninety Nine Years And therefore the said William Reid as Factor Attorney and Deputy And having right as said is from the said Alexander Reid Desired that the extract of the aforesaid propinquity might be given to him signed and attested by his with the privy seal of our city affixed thereto which Desire we thought reasonable And therefore ordained the aforesaid extract of the said propinquity by the said witnesses and representation previous thereto by the said Alexander Reid the tenor followeth viz.t Att Aberdeen the Twenty and Twenty fourth Days of Aprill One Thousand six hundred and Ninety Nine Years In presence of the magistrates of the said Burgh sitting in judgment compeared the said Alexander Reid and held out that Captain George Reid his uncle who lived sometime at the milne of Drumbeck in the pariock of Udney |
