       Living with his Father Stephen Murty & his
       Mother Elizabeth Murty alias Sower both now
       Deceased whome the Depon.ts Did Likewise
       Personally Knewe & that he the said Peter
       Murty was commonly held and Reputed to be
       the Legitamit son of the said Stephen Murty
       and Elizabeth his wife & that they the
       Depon.ts Likewise held and Reputed him
       soe & never heard Directly or Indirectly any
       thing to the contrary the said Depon.ts
       Likewise Declear that the same Peter
       Murty whome they Knew in Waterford as afd
       is now a Resident is this Island of Theneriffe
       and I the said consull personally Knowe him
       the said Deponent Gregory Fz Gerald Decleares
       that he is of the age of fifty seven years
       and the said Dominick White Decleares That
       he is of the age of fifty one years & they
       further say not Dated in Teneriffe the
       tenth Day of October One thousand seven
       hundred & eighteen
