(138) Whereas Peregrine Browne of London Merch.t stands indebted to the Queens Majestie in divers great sums of Money in & by severall bonds for the Customes & Other Duties on Tobacco imported into the Port of London whereon there remains due to her Majestie the Sum of five thousand seven hundred eighty three ^five^ pounds twelve shill and five pence half peny as in and by the said Bonds now remaining in the hands of Thomas Eyre Esq.r one of the Attorneys of her Majesties Court of Exchequer may Appear And Whereas the s.d Henry Perigrine Browne in and by his Deed poll or bargaine & sale bearing Date the nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twelve & in the eleventh year of her present Majesties Reigne therein and thereby reciting that the gratest part of his Estate & Effects were at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery of the said Deed poll & bargaine and sale in Virginia Maryland and other parts beyond the seas partly in the hands of the severall psons therein and herein after perticularly named who are severally indebted unto him the s.d Perigrine (Browne) |
