1 x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture Made the eighteenth Day of May Anno Dom One Thousand seven hundred and nineteen Between Daniel Powel of Talbott County of the one part and Peter Galloway of Ann Arundell County of the other part Wittnesseth that Whereas Daniell Powell aforesaid was and is & is siezed in his Demeasne as of fee of a certaine Tract or Parcell of Land called and known by the Name of Rideby Lyeing & being on the west side of Chesapeak Bay and on the North side of a river of the said Bay called Patapsco River and one the east side of a creeke of the said River called welshmans Creek Begining at a marked oake near the head of a branch called [illegible] Branch runing North East by the creek side for bredth one hundred and fifty per to a branch Bounding on the North by a line Drawn north west up the branch for Length three hundred and Twenty per on the west by a line drawn south west from the end of the north west Line for bredth one hundred and fifty pches on the south by a line drawn south east from the end of the said south west Line unto the first Marked Oak on the east by the creek said to containe Three hund.d acres more or Less This Indenture farther Wittnesseth that the said Daniel Powel for & in consideration of Thirty five p.ds Sterl to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof he doath accknowledg himself therew.th to be fully satisfied contented and paid at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these (psents) |
