68 Att the Court at Kensington the 28.th Aug.t 1710 Present (seale) The Queens most Excellent Majesty
Upon reading this day at the board a Presentment from the Com.rs of her Maj.tys Customes Relateing to Colony Quarry Surveyor Gen.ll of the Southern Continent of America who about twelve yeares age obtained Judgm.ts in Maryland upon four bonds in the penalty of one thousand p.ds each for Illegall trade Carrying the Enumerated Goods in the plant.as to Forreigne Parts and that he had severall times applyed to the Governour and Councill to Gett Execution Levyed but to no purpose they having referred him to the attorney Gen.ll who constantly put him if under one pretence or another Her Majesty in her privy Councell takeing notice of these proceedings is pleased to ord.r as it is hereby ordered that the Governour or Commander in Chief and the Councill of her Maj.tys province of Maryland as also the attorny Gen.ll there doe without any further delay whatsoever Cause Execution to be Levyed according to the said Judgments And that due prosecution be made on the sever.ll bonds w.ch the said Co.ll Quarry has given or shall give to the said attorney Gen.ll to be put in suite as being forfeited for Tradeing Contrary to Law whereof they are not to fail at their perills and the said Governour or Comander in Chief & Councill of her Maj.tys said province of Maryland & the att.rny Gen.ll there are to take as well as all other persons Concerned are to take due notice hereof and to be aiding and assisting to the said Co.ll Quary accoringly Chris Musgrave 421 |
