       Land granted to the said Samuel Chew the Tenth day of November one thousand
       six hundred Ninety five called Chews Resolution Manner Lying at Elk Ridge
       formerly in Ann Arundell County but now in Baltemore County beginning at a
       bounded White oak and hickory being Edward Talbotts bounded Trees and runing
       south east fifty seven perches to a bounded White oak then east by south sixty
       four perches to a bounded White oak then North East one hundred forty six
       Perches to a bounded White oak then North North West forty four perches
       to a bounded White oak then North by East one hundred seventy eight pches
       to a bounded hickory then North West three hundred and twenty perches to
       a bounded hickory then West one hundred and Twenty four pches to a bounded
       White oak then South West two hundred fifty Nine pches to a bounded oak of
       Edward Talbotts then by a streight line to the first bounded Trees containing and
       now laid out for One Thousand seventy three acres of Land more or Less together
       with all houses out houses Woods under Woods pastures orchards Gardens
       Easements profitts comoditys thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
       as the same was by the Lord proprietary of this Province granted under the
       broad seal of the said Province bearing date as aforesaid as by the above Date
       more fully Doth appear And this Indenture further Wittnesseth that
       the said Samuel Chew for the considerations above Mentioned sixth and hereby
       Doth give Grant Alien Assigne Sell and Convey all the aforesaid one thousand seventy
       three Acres of Land in full manner and forme as aforesaid to the within named
       Caleb Dorsey his heirs and Assignes forever as aforesaid to have and to hold
       the said Tract or parcell of Land [illegible] and of and premisses with
       the appurtenances unto him the said Caleb Dorsey his heirs and assignes
       for ever to the only proper use and behoofe of him the said Caleb Dorsey
       his heirs and assignes forever ^more^ and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever
       and the said Samuel Chew at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery
       for himself his heirs executors and administrators doth hereby covenant
       grant and agree to and with the said Caleb Dorsey his heirs and assignes that
       he the said Samuel Chew at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery hereof
       hath in himself good Right full power and Lawfull authority to give grant
       bargain sell enfeoff and confirm the aforesaid Land and premisses to the
       aforesaid Caleb Dorsey his heires and assignes forever in manner and forme af.d
       and that the said Land and premises at the time of Ensealing & Delivery hereof
       is free and clear of and from all & every former and other Gifts grants bargains
       sales Mortgages and all other Incumbrances whatsoever and that this present
       Grant & Sale of the said Land & premises to him the s.d Caleb Dorsey his heirs
       and assignes forever he the said Samuel Chew his heirs executors or
       administrators shall & will Warrant and for ever Defend by these
