Co.l George Talbot haveing this day made his appearance before his Excellency and Councill and with all humility on his bended sence humbly presented to the court then sitting his majestys most Gracious pardon for the felony by him comitted on the body of Christ.o Rousby Esq of Maryland Esq and humbly prayed that the said pardon might be read in court and allowed of which the court with all honnor to his Majestys most Gracious Pardon to the said Co.l George Talbot ordered to be read and recorded for the benefit of him the said Co.l George Talbot after which his Excellency was pleased by a Grave and serious admonition to move the said Co.l George Talbot to a hearty and thorough Repentance of the Great offence ag.t God almighty and by a future peaceable and Good behaviour and demeanour to testifie his true and hearty sence of his Majestys Grace and favour unto him Copy Examined p C C Thacker Cl Gen Cur Jacobus secundus dei Gratia Angliæ Scotiæ Franciæ et Hybernia Rex fidei Defendor &c.a Omnibus ad quos p.rsentes Lræ Nostræ pvenerint saltem cum ad generalium curiam Wram tent apud James Citty in Colonia Nra de Virginia in America Vicessimo die Aprilis Iam ult pterit quidam Georgius Talbot nuper |
