417 his Lordships Justices of the prov.ll Court of the province of Maryland James Thrum One of the err.a to the within Letter of attorney and Makes oath upon the holy evangelists of almighty God that he saw the within named George Buck Esq.r seale and Deliver the within Instrument as his Act and Deed to the uses therein Menconed sworn to before me the day paid I B 72 and year above recorded June y.e 10.th Sam.l Young x.d This Indenture Made this Twenty third Day of March One thousand seven vide 442 hundred and sixteen By and Between Alexander Parran of Calvert County Merchant of the one parte and Charles Carroll of the Citty of Annapolis Esquire of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Alexander for and in consideration of the sume of one thousand pounds sterling to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Charles the Receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof Doth acquitt and Discharge him the said Charles his heires ex.rs and adm.rs by these presents Hath Given Granted Bargained sealed sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents Doth Give Bargaine sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Charles his heires and assignes for ever all the severall Tracts parts of Tracts and parcells of Land hereinafter after Menconed and Described as alsoe all those the twenty four Negroe slaves Men Women Boys and Girls with their future Increase and all the silver plate stock of cattle horses Mares and hoggs herein after Likewise Menconed (that is to say) A tract of Land (called) |
