x.d  To all X.tian People Wee Matthias Clark of
       Herring Creek in Ann Arundell County in the province
       of Maryland Carpenter & Eliz.a the wife of the s.d Matthias
       the widdow of Job Barnes of the place & places County
       aforesaid plant.r Deceased the only Daughter of Thomas
       Ford of the same place Deceased send Greeting Whereas
       Cecilius the Lord proprietor of the province afd by his deed of
       Grant und.r y.e great seale dated y.e four & Twentieth day of
       Septemb.r in the year of our Lord God 1663 Did Grant
       unto Henry Stockett Gent a Certaine Tract or parcell of Land
       Called Rupalta Containing three hundred Acres more or Less
       lying on the west side of Cheseopeake b^a^y and on the west side
       of a River in the said Bay Called Susquehannah River in y.e
       County of Baltemore in the province afd Beginning
       at a marked Locust Tree standing on a small point by the river
       side respecting the Lower End of Palmers Island to the east
       Running for breadth north & by west up the river one hundred
       and fifty Perches to a marked Chestnutt oake bounding on the
       north by a line drawn west from the s.d oake for the length of
       three hundred and Twenty perches on the west by a line drawn
       south ^and by^ east from the end of the west Line for breadth one hundred
       and Fifty perches on the south by a line drawn east from the
       end of the south & by east Line unto the marked Locust on the
       east by the s.d River containing three hundred acres more or Less
       And whereas the said Henry Stockett did by Indenture
       under his hand seale dated thirtieth day of Decemb.r in the
       year of our Lord God 1670 Convey & make over all his Right
       Title & Interest of the s.d Tract or parcell of Land unto Thomas
       Ford of Herring Creek afd & to his heirs forever & whereas James
       Ford son & heir of Tho.s Ford aforenamed by his Last will and
       Will & Testament dated the eight & Twentieth day of
       July in the year of our Lord God 1702 Did therely Give
       devise & bequeath unto his Loveing brother John Ford &
       his Loveing sister Eliz.a Barnes all that Tract or parcell of
       Land Called the Rupalta Containing three hundred acres
       more or less lying on Susquehanna River in Baltemore
       County afd to be equally Divided them and to their heirs
       and assignes forever as by the s.d will more fully and at Large
       appeareth And whereas also the s.d Matthias Clark hath been
       Cast into Prison by a Law suite Contracted from a Certaine Debt
       by the said Eliz.a when she was y.e widow of Job Barnes in order
       for the sale of her part of y.e afd Tract whereby the said Matthias
       Clark hath been forced to sell and part with a Certaine Tract
       of Land in Herring Creek afd Lately purchased of Tho.s Ten^c^h
       Esq.r for his two sons John Clark & Webber Clark Therefore
