196 Seventy perches to a bounded red Oake then by a direct Line to the first tree Containing four hundred and fifteen acres more or less And also two negroes the one Called James and the other Beak and Tenn head of Cattle and a feather bed and furniture and a hand mill and two Iron pots and two Dishes and one plate and a frying pann & two Chaires and a gun & one bay mare with a long Tail branded T B To have and to hold all and singular the said Given land and premises af.d unto the said John Brown his heirs ex.rs or adm.rs to his and their own proper uses and behoofs forever freely and Quietly without any manner of Challenge Claime or demand by ^of^ me the said Thomas Brown or of any other person or persons whatsoever for me in my name by my Cause means or procurement and without any mony or other thing to be Yielded paid or done unto me the said Tho.s Brown my heirs ex.rs and adm.rs and I the said Tho.s Brown all and singular the given land Negroes and premises afd to the sd John Brown his heirs ex.rs or adm.rs to the use afd ag.t all people do warr.t and for ever defend by these presents In Wittness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale Thomas Browne (sea) Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us Henry Jemmett John Harris On the back of the aforegoing deed was thus endorst Viz.t Decemb.r y.e 5.th 1713 This day Came before us Jn.o Baldwin & Josias Towgood two of her maj.tys Justices of Annarund.l County the within named Tho.s Brown sen.r and acknowledged the within deed and the land & premises togeather with the severall things within Contained to be the right of the within named Tho.s Brown Jun.r his heirs and Assignes for ever according to act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Taken & acknowledged before us the day and year above written recorded Dec.r y.e 31.st 1713 Jn.o Baldwin Josias Towgood Decemb.r the 7.th 1713 These are to Certifie that the above menconed M.r Jn.o Baldwin and M.r Josias Towgood before whome y.e within menconed deed of Conveyance ^Gift^ was acknowledged are two of her maj.tys |
