       That before the Ensealing and Delivery of these psents the within named
       John Gresham doth agree w.th the within named John Wells that he
       the said John Gresham his heires & assignes shall & will be Content w.th y.e
       Quantity of Land contained w.thin the Express Lines and bounds of the
       said Land as within Expressed as wittness my hand & seale this 3.d day of
       Aug.t 1710

       expressed in the w.thin deed of Conveyance & acknowledged by the w.thin
       named Jn.o Wells according to act of assembly

    x.d This Indenture made the first day of August in the yeare of our
       Lord one thousand seven hundred and tenn Between William Taylard of y.e
       Citty of Annapolis gentl & Audry his wife of the one part and Charles Carroll
       of the same place Esq.r of the other part Wittnesseth that the s.d W.m
       Taylard and Audry his wife for and in Consideration of the sume of Eighty
       pounds Eleven shill of Lawfull money of England to them in hand paid
       by the said Charles Carroll before the ensealing of these psents the receipt
       whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part & pcell
       thereof do hereby clearly and absolutely acquitt exonerate and discharge y.e
       s.d Charles Carroll his heires ex.rs and adm.rs for ever by these psents have
       given granted aliened bargained and sold and by these presents do give
