96 Maryland fs Know all men by these presents that we Phillemon Hemsley Thomas Marsh and John Hawkins Jun.r of Queen Annes County in the pvince af.d Gent are holden and firmly bound unto our sovereigne Lady Anne by the Grace of God Queen of England &c.a in the full sume & Just Quantity of Two hundred thousand pounds of good sound Merchatable leafe Tobacco and Cask to be paid to her said Maj.ty her heires and successors to the w.ch paym.t well and truly to be made we bind our selves and Either of us our & either of our heires Ex.rs & adm.rs Joyntly and severally for the whole & in the whole firmly by these presents sealed with our seales and dated this sixth Day of May in the sixth yeare of her said Maj.tys Reigne Annoq Dm 1707 The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounden Phillemon Hemsely do well and truly save her said Maj.ty her heires & success.rs in the office of high sherr of Queen Annes County within the province af.d and also shall render unto her said Maj.ty and other her officers a true faithfull & Pfect account of all and singular her said Maj.tys Rights and Dues and to her officers a true and Just account of their Fees that he shall be untrusted with by her Maj.tys Governour and other her officers within this province to Receive and Collect and his account to her s.d Maj.ty her heires & successors and to her & their Governour there for the time being for the Fines and forfeitures and other dues belonging to her said Maj.tys Governour as also his account of all fees dues and sumes of Money or Tobacco for Leavyes or Fees due to any her maj.tys officers and other Good people within this province shall pass an Account of by the Tenth Day of Aprill next (Ensueing) |
