          Memorandum that it is Declared by the within named
       Charles Carroll that the Legall interest within menconed
       being yearly paid there shall no advantage be taken of
       non Complyance with the paym.t of the Twenty pound
       yearly till the five years be Expired

x.d   This Indenture made this Twentyeth Day of November in the
       year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty By and
       Between Lewis Duvall of Ann Arundell County Gentl of the one
       part and John Hyde of the Citty of London in the Kingdom
       of England merchant of the other part  Wittnesseth that he
       the said Lewis for and in Consideracon of the sume of five hundred
       pounds Currant and Lawfull mony of England to him in hand at
       or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said
       John Hyde well and Truly paid the receipt whereof he the said
       Lewis doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of Every part
       and percell thereof doth fully Clearly and absolutely Exonerate
       acquitt and Discharge him the said John Hyde his heirs Ex.rs
       and administrators and every of them for Ever by these presents
       as also for divers other good Causes and Valluable Consideracons
       him thereunto Especially moveing he the said Lewis doth given
       granted Bargained sold alliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed as
       by these presents he doth for him and his heirs give grant
       bargain sell alien enffeoffe and Confirme unto him the said
       John Hyde all that those severall Tracts or percells or
       parts of Tracts herein after Described (Viz.t)  All that Tract
       or percell of Land lyeing in Annarundell County afores.d
