143 copy $2.40 x.d Kirkbywiske the 28.th of December 1708 a True Copy of the Register of the forsaid parish Concerning Thomas Carter and his family Thomas Carter of Kirkby and Unika Palisser of Newby Married the 20.th of October 1618 Alice Carter Daughter to Thomas Carter of Kirkby Batized the 29.th of August 1619 Christopher Carter son to Thomas Carter of Kirkby the 30.th of September 1621 John Carter son to Thomas Carter of Kirkby baptized the 8.th of February 1623 William Carter son to Tho.s of Kirkby Baptized the 13.th of September 1626 Mary Carter Daughter to Thomas of Kirkby Baptized the 24.th of July 1631 Thomas Carter son to Thomas of Kirkby Baptized the 26.th of November 1634 Richard Carter son to Thomas of Kirkby Baptized the 30.th of Nov.r 1637 Thomas Carter of Kirkby Buried the first of October 1639 That is a True Copy of the register of Kirkbywisk is attested by the minister & a Church wardner under subscribeing day & place above written John Nicholson Rector of Kirkbywisk Michael Atkinson Church Warden John More of Arden in the County of York in the Kingdom of England Clerk aged forty yeares and upwards and William Peirson of Mawnby in the said County of York and Kingdom aforesaid yeoman aged fifty five yeares and upwards severally make oath that the paper writeing hereunto annexed purporting a Copy of the Parish Register Book of Mariages & Births of Persons married & Baptized at Kirkbywiske in the County of Yorke in the Kingdom afd is a True Copy of the said Register book of the Mariage & births of the persons in the said paper annexed menconed therein to be married and baptized as the same are set down in the said books (Viz.t) Thomas Carter the father Alice his daughter Christopher John & W.m his sons as the same appeared in and by the said Register book at Kirkby sup wiske afd for that these deponants see the said Copy thereof hereto annexed written and taken at the said parish of Kirkby sup wiske afd out of and from the said Register Booke there and say that the s.d Copy was examined w.th the said parish and Michael Atkinson one of the Church Wardens of the said parish (John Davison the other of the Church Wardens of the said parish being gone from home) who subscribed the said Copy of the said Register book as a True Copy thereof in these deponants presence and that the Names John Nicholson & Michael Atkinson to the said Coppy so subscribed (and) |
