130 Annapolis Esq.r of the One part and William Bladen of the same City Esq.r of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll for and in Consideration of the sume of forty five thousand pounds of Tobacco by the sd William Bladen to him in hand ^paid^ Hath and Doth hereby Grant Bargaine Sell Alien Enfeoffe Release and Confirme unto the said William Bladen his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or parcell of Land being the Moyety of Kent Fort Mannour on Kent Island in Queen Anns County lately Conveyed unto him the said Charles Carroll and his heirs by M.rs Anne Lynes the Ex.rx of the last Will and Testam.t of Philip Lynes Esq.r Deceased pursuant to the said Philip Lynes.s Will togather with the Plantations Houses Grounds Tymber trees woods and the Rights priviledges and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or ^in^ any wise appertayning To Have and To hold the same to him the said William Bladen his heirs and Assigns forever to their sole proper Use and Behoofe and to no other Rendring such proportionable Rents and Services to the Lord proprietary and his Successors as in and by the Originall Grant of the sd Mannour are conditioned And reserved In witness whereof the partys to these presents have ^here^ interchangable sett their hands and seals the Day and year above written Seald and Delivered Charles Carroll (Seal) in the p.rsence of Phile Lloyd On the back side of the foregoeing Isaac Tripier Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t Feb.ry the 1.rst 1709/10 Then came the with in ^named^ Charles Carroll Esq.r and Mary his Wife and she being seperately and privately examined they did both acknowledge the with in Deed and p.rmisses to be the Right of the within named William Bladen his heirs and Assigns before me 330 Phile Lloyd Just Provin |
