954 intent and meaning of these p.rsents y.t if y.e s.d W.m his Ex.rs adm.rs or assignes shall & Doe well & truely pay or Cause to be paid to the said John Hyde his Ex.rs adm.rs or assignes at y.e Now Dwelling house of Charles Carroll at y.e Porte of Annapolis on the twenty sixth day of June next the legall interest by Law allowed or hereafter to be allowed for y.e consideracon Mony aboves.d & such parte of y.e principall as is herein after Expressed by such paym.ts and in such manner as is herein after Ex limitted (Viz.t) on y.e twenty sixth Day of June next one years interest for the whole debt and one moyety of y.e principall and on y.e twenty sixth day of June foll^o^wing one years interest for y.e other moyety of the mony afd w.th the remaining moyety it self both w.th payments to be made at y.e times and place aforesaid by good and sufficient Bills of Exc.a drawne upon some responsible merchant in London w.ch shall be Duely accepted and paid that then this Deed & all articles Clauses and Covenants therein Contained and the Estate thereby made is to be null void & of noe Effect otherwise & upon failure of either or any of y.e s.d Payments to remain in full force & virtue to vest the fee symple & inheritance in him the said John Hyde his heires and assign's forever In wittness whereof the said Parties have hereunto Interchangably sett their hands and seales the Day & yeare first above writen Signed sealed & Delivered W.m Derrumple (seale) in p.rsence off on y.e back of y.e aforegoeing Char.les Carroll Deed was thus indorsed (Viz.t) |
