       This Indenture made The Twenty Third day of August in the
       Yeare of our Lord God one Thousand Seven hundreth and Three
       Yeares  And in the Second yeare of The Reign of our Sovereign
       Lady Anne By the Grace of God of England Scotland France &
       Ireland Queen defender of the faith &c  Between Allexsander
       Reid Catlie in Inurury within the Shirefdome of Abe.rdeene
       and Kingdome of Scotland and now in North Ferrie of Dunde
       within The Shirefdome of Forfar and Kingdome foresaid only
       son Child and Heire of The Deceast Alexsander Reid in Inuerury
       who was Brother German and of The wholl Blood and heir
       in Law of the Deceast George Reid Late of the province of
       Maryland in Americco Gentleman of the One part and
       John Gandy of The City of London Mariner of the Other part
       witnesseth That The Said Alexsander Reid For and in
       Consideration of The Sume of Five Shillings of Good and
       Lawfull money of England to him in hand paid By The Said
       John Gandy Att and Before the Ensealling and Delivery of These
       P.rsents The Recept Whereof he the Said Alexsander Reid
       doth hereby Acknowledge and for diverse other Good Causes
       and Considerations him hereunto Moveing Hath Granted Bargained
       and Sould and by These p.rsents doth Grant Bargain & Sell
       Unto The Said John Gandy his heires and Assignayes all
       That Tract or Mannor of land heretofore lying in Tobot
       County But now in Kent County called red Burne
       Orriginally Taken Up By The Said George Reid and Surveyed
       For one Thousand Acres on The South Side of Chester
       River and Alsoe all other the Messuages Lands tenements
       and hereditaments of him The Said Alexsander Reid Sittuate
       Lyind and Being in The Severall Countyes of Kent Tobott &
       Saint Maryes in The Said Province of Maryland or Either
       of Them Wherein or Whereunto the Said Alexsander
       Reid hath or ought to have any Estate right Title or
       Intrest in Possestion Reversion or remander Together
       with all and Singular The houses Eddifices woods
