716 On the A Deed recorded in Libro Fol.o 621 was thus endorsed viz.t Whereas in the within deed it is provided & it is the true intent & meaning of the partys within named that whereas George Jackson & Comp.a comenced a suite in the high Court of Chanc.ry for the quantity of fifty two thousand two hundred pds of Tob.o ag.t the within named Thomas Browne for payment whereof the within named Charles Carroll party to the same became bound to the said George Jackson & Comp.a as P the within mencond may at large appear Now know Yee that for as much as the said sume of fifty two thousand two hundred pds of Tob.o is since by the said Browne fully satisfied & paid in full discharge according to the true intent & meaning of the same Therefore I the said Geo Jackson do for myself & Comp.a our heires Ex.rs & Adm.rs hereby remise release & for ever discharge the said Thomas Browne his heires Ex.rs & Adm.rs of & from all Clauses Coven.ts & Claimes w.tsoever that may any wise arise ag.t him the said Browne his Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assigns by occasion of the within menconed Mortgage or any thing therein contained having recd full satisfaction as afd as Witness my hand & seal 14.th day of August Anno Dn 1703 P George Jackson (seald) Teste Edw.d Hancox John Freeman W Taylard This Indre made the thirteenth day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & two Between Charles Carroll of the County of Ann Arundell Gent of the one part & Benj.a Fordham of the port of Annapolis in the County afd Gent of the other part Witnesseth that he the said Charles for & in Consideration of the Yearly rent herein after reserved & to him made payable by the said Benj.a hath demised Granted sett & to farm lett as by these p.rsents he the said Charles doth demise Grant sett & to farme lett unto him the said Benj.a & to his Assignes all those two Lotts of Ground with the Brewhouse & dwelling house thereupon built scituate lying & being in the port of Annapolis with all & singular the appurts & all houses Offices Storehouses stables Yards Gardens & all other Easm.ts & Comodities to the same Brew house belonging or apptaining or with the same occupied with all & singular their appurts & all Brewing Vessells Utensils & implements to the same Brew house belonging & in any manner of wise appertaining To have hold use occupy possess & enjoy the said Lotts of Ground with the Brew house & dwelling house thereupon built & all other the p.rmisses herein before mencond & expressed together with their & ev.ry of their Appurts to the said Benj.a Fordham his Ex.rs or assigns from the day of the date hereof for & during the term of three Years fully to be compleated & ended Yeilding & paying therefore Yearly & every Year during the said Terme unto the said Charles his heires or assigns the sume of |
