(652) John Burdett of Furnivals In London Gent Maketh oath upon the holy Evangelist of allmighty God to be true that he the Deponent hath for Many yeares past Knowne and been intimately acquanted with M.r W.m Rousby of Cronce of East Rideing in the County of york Gent the Constituant Mentioned in the writeing or ler of att.ry whereunto this is annexed bearing Date the Eleventh day of Aprill last past and that he doth likwise very well Know and is and hath for a long time past been familiarly acquainted with Robert Rousby late of the Citty of york Merchant at present In London the att.ry Mentioned in the same ler att.ry and that they the said W.m Rousby and Robt Rousby were allways reputed and Taken to be True and Legitimate Brothers and the Deponent Doth further Make Oath that he doth really and in his Consience belive the signe W.m Rousby to the said Ler att.ry is of the owne proper hand written and of the said W.m Rousby the Deponent haveing seen the said W.m Rousby severall times write his name and being very well acquanted with his hand writeing Jn.o Burdett Jurat primodie May A.o Dd 1702 coram me Jn.o Houblon Sworne too in I W.m Smith Notary Publick by royall y.e premice of Authority admitted and sworne dwelling in W.m Nicholls London Doe certifie and attest for truth W.m Smith to all those whome it Doth or may Conserne that I was present and say the Deponent John Burdett make oathe to the truth (of) |
