       North Two hundred sixty six perches by a Line
       Drawne from the End of the North East and by
       North line and runing west Two hundred Ninty
       Eight perches by a Line Drawne from the End
       of the west Line and runing south five hundred
       thirty six perches to the first Markt ^white^ oake
       at the Mouth of Duck Creek Containing
       six hundred Acres of Land More or Less as in
       and by the patent thereof Remaining upon
       Record In the Land office Relacon being
       thereunto had it Doth and May more fully
       and at Large appeare and whereas
       afterwards the said Jarvis Morgan being
       thereof possest in and by his Last will
       and Testam.t bearing Date the Tenth Day of
       Janu.ry Annoq.r Dn 1698 Did amongst
       other things Bequists Give and Bequeath
       unto the said Thomas Roper Three hundred
       Acres to him and his heires for Ever being the
       Moyety or one halfe parte of the said Tract
       of Land lying in Sassafrax River in Cecill County
       as afd as in and by the said last will and
       Testam.t of the said Jarvis Morgan alsoe
       upon Record In this province relacon being
       thereunto had it Doth and may more fully
       and at Large appeare  Now This Indenture
       further wittnesseth that the
       said Tho.s Roper for and in Consideration of
       the sume of One hundred and forty pounds
       of Lawfull Money of England to him in
       hand well and Truly satisfied and paid by
       the Edward Rumley the Receipt whereof
       the said Thomas Roper Doth hereby
