       This Indenture made the Twentifith day
       of November in the yeare of the Reigne of our
       sovereigne Lord William the third by the Grace


       This Indenture made the Twenty fifth
       Day of November in the yeare of our Lord
       One thousand Seaven hundred and one
       In the Thirteenth yeare of the Reigne of our
       Sovereigne Lord W.m the third by the Grace
       of God of England Scotland France and Ireland
       King Defend.r of the faith &c.a  Between
       Charles Calvert of Charles County in the
       province of Maryland Gent of the one
       parte and Gerard Slye of S.t Maryes County
       in the province af.d Merchant of the other
       parte Wittnesseth that whereas Charles
       Calvert Esq.r Formerly Leiutenant Generall
       for and under his Father Cæcilus Calvert Lord
       Barron of Baltemore and Lord and proprietary
       of Maryland did on the Ninthteen
       Day of May in the yeare of our Lord one
       thousand six hundred sixty and Nine
       by his warr.t order and Impower Jerome
       White Esq.r then Surveyor Generall of the
       said Lord proprieatary and of this province
       to lay out Five hundred Acres of Land out
       of his Manner of Annarund.ll Between Tho.s
       Taylors Quarter and ^his^ the said Charles Calvert
       Esq.r Quarter att the Ridge for his Godson the
       said Charles Calvert Gent and the Certificate
       of the said Land should be returned in the
       of W.m Calvert Esq.r Father to the said Charles
       Calvert Gent as by the said warrant more att
       Large may appeare  And whereas the said
       Jerome White Esq.r surveyor Generall &c
       pursuant to the afd warrant returned a Cert
       of the survey of the said Land Directed
