(348) This Indenture made the Twenty seaventh day of January in the Thirteenth yeare of the Reigne of our Soverigne Lord William the third by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c.a And in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand and seven hundred Between Edward Batson of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one parte and Rob.t Johnson of Prince Georges County in the said Province of Maryland Planter of the other parte wittnesseth that whereas the Right Hono.ble Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore County &c.a Did by his Deed of grante or pattent under his Ldps greater seale used in the said province for Grante of land Dated the first day of June one thousand seaven hundred for the Consideracon therein Mentioned grante unto him the said Edward Batson all that Tract or parcell of Land Called Batsons Fellowship lyeing in Baltemore County in the freshes of Bush River in the woods being parte of a Ridge Called Chesnutt Ridge Begining at a bo.d Red oake being a bounded Tree of Bennitt Creeds land and runing thence North by |
