(330) the within named Jn.o Woodon and his heires and Assignes for ever w.ch is the true intent and meaning of y.e said recited Indenture and deed And at the same time Alsoe came before us Mary Parrish wife of the said Edward Parrish who being secretly Examined out of the heareing of her husband according to Act of Assembly in that case made and provided did voluntarily confess that she had not any threats of her husband to cause her to feare but of her owne free will and Accird did Give up to the said Jn.o Wooding his heires and Assignes for Ever all her right of Dower title and interest whatsoever of in or to the within mencd seaventy Acres of land and p.rmises and evry parte and parcell thereof and the said Edward and Mary did both desire the same might be soe recorded for and to the only proper use and behoofe of the said Jn.o Wooding his heires and Assignes for Ever Accirding to the true purport intent and meaning thereof in testimony whereof wee have hereunto subscribed our Names the day and Yeare first Above written James Saunders June 24 1701 Phillip Hoskins Then recd of M.r Jn.o Wooden the sume of 3.s & 6.e for Alienacon of the within land I say recd for y.e use of M.r Richard Bennett and James Heath P W Taylard |
