136 Memd this is Recorded in Ann Arrund.ll Co Courte Records This Indenture made the two and Twentieth day of July in the Thirteenth Yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord William the third by the Grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland King defender of the faith &c.a Annoq Dm 1700 Between John Eason of Talbott County Plan.r sonn and heire of John Eason late of Talbott County Planter of the one parte and Joshua Merrikin of Ann Arrundell County Planter of the other parte wittnesseth that the said John Eason for and in consideration of the sume of Twenty pounds of Lawfull money of England to him the sd John Eason well and sufficiently secured to be paid before the Ensealing and Executeing of these p.rsents hath given Granted bargained sold Aliened released Enfeoffed and Confirmed as alsoe by these p.rsents doth fully clearly and Absolutely Give grant bargaine sett Alien release and confirme unto ^him^ the said Joshua Merriken all that tract of Land called Scotland formerly surveyd for Richard Ewen and granted to John Eason by Letters Pattents under the great Seale of the Lord Baltemore bearing date the Nineteenth day of September Anno Dmi One Thousand Six Hundred sixty three leying on the west side of Cheaseapeake Bay more unto a Creeke called Fishing Creeke beginning at a marked Hickory standing neere the head swamp of a Creeke called Scotyeares Creeke bounding on the North with a Line drawne East and by North from the sd hickory for the length of one hund.d & Twenty perches to a marked oake and with a Line drawne South East from the said oake the length of One hundred and Twenty pches to a Marked hickory standeing by a Great Marsh on the East with the land lately possessed by (Rob.t |
