                This Indenture made the thirty first day of August in the Ninth Yeare of the Reigne of
       William the third by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defend.r of the faith &c.a
       And in the Year of our Lord according to the supputacon of y.e Church of England 1697 Between Robert Vaulx
       of the County of Dorchester in the Province of Maryland in America Planter and Elizabeth his wife of y.e one parte
       and Stephen Fouare of y.e County of Yorke in the Colloney of Virginia Clk of y.e other parte Wittnesseth that y.e
       said Robert Vaulx and Elizabeth his wife for Divers good Causes and Consideracons Them thereunto moveing
       but more Espetially for and in Consideration of forty pounds of good and Lawfull of England unto them by y.e said
       Stephen Fauce in hand paid at and before y.e ensealing and delivery of these p.rsents y.e Reciept whereof and of
       Every part thereof the said Robert Vaulx and Elizabeth his wife doe hereby accknowledge & thereof doe
       fully freely and absolutely for themselves theire heires Ex.rs & Adm.rs and Every of them exonerate acquit
       and Discharge the said Stephen Faulx his heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these p.rsents Have Granted
       Bargained Sould Remised Released and Confirmed and by these p.rsents for themselves and either of them their
       and Every of their Heires Respectively doe Grant bargain sell Remise Release and for ever Confirme unto the
       said Stephen Faule and to his heires and assignes for ever all and singular the Right State Title Intrest
       use Possession reversion Claime and Demand whatsoever which they the said Robert Vaulx & Elizabeth his
       wife or either of them ever had have or which heareafter they or either of them their or either of any of their
       heires can or may Claim to have of and in Two Certaine Seales tracts or Dividends of Land containing two
       hundred and fifty acres scituate Lyeing and being in the said County of Yorke in Virg.a af.d now already in y.e
       actuall and peaceable Possession of him the said Stephen Fauce by virtue of a bargaine sale and Demise
       to him made by Indenture Dated the day before the Date of these p.rsents for three yeares then next Coming and
       by virtue of the statute for transfering Uses into possession which said two hundred and fifty acres is bound
       as followeth that is to say one hundred and fifty acres parte thereof lying and being in the Pish of Bruton
       formerly Marston Pish on the uppermost side of Queens Creeke and according to the metes and bounds ascertained
       in one pattent for y.e said one hundred and fifty acres of land granted unto John DaVrie Dated y.e Twenty Ninth
       Day of October 1647 thus bounded to witt beginning at a marked Tree and running along the land now or
       late in the tenure of M.r Joinew South by East one Quarter Easterly fifty six Chanes thence west three quarters
