788 (769 Huckingham) beareing Equall Date with these p.rsents to Hugh Sherwood of Talbot County Gent According to the forme of the said Deed hereby promising to Ratifie and Confirme all and whatsoever my s.d Attorney shall Lawfully doe in the premisses always holding the same to be as good and vallued in the Law to all intents and purposes whatsoever as the same Might or Could doe were I personally present att the Doeing thereof sealed with my seale the Last Day of July Anno Dom 1696 Sealed and Delivered in p.rsence of William Leeds (seale) James Murphey Edward Hambleton This Indenture Made the sixth Day of Octob.r in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred Ninety six Between William Hatton of Prince Georges County Gentl of the one part and Jn.o Low of Sn.t Maries County Ship Carpenter & George Dent of the same County Carpenter Witnesseth that the said William Hatton for & in consideracon of the sum of five shillings to him paid by the said Jn.o Low & George Dent as for Divers other good Causes & Consideracons him hereunto more especially mooveing hath given granted bargained sold assigned Transferred Enfeofed & Confirmed and by these p.rsents he doth fully clearly & absolutely give grant bargaine alien sell Transfer Enfeof & confirm unto the said Jn.o Low and George Dent their heirs & assignes forever All that pcell of Land Called the Brothers Joynt Intrest Lyeing in Charles County in the woods above Piscattway and begining at a bounded white oake standing on the south side of a Fresh run called Oxsun Runing thence south south east sixty seaven pches binding upon a small Branch which Comes out of the Run to a bounded white oake Thence west & by south one hundred thirty seaven pches to a bounded white oake thence south west seaventy five pches Thence south south west forty five pches to a bounded white Oake standing on the south side of a great branch Thence west south west one hundred thirty pches To a bounded white oake standing on the side of a Hill Thence south sixty pches to a bounded white oake Thence south west & by south Thirty five pches to a bounded white oake standing in a Branch Thence west north west Ninety pches to a bounded white oake Thence North & by west sixty pches to a bounded popler Thence bounded upon the s.d Oxson Runn as It runneth to the first bounded Tree Containing and Laid out for Two hundred Thirty six acres more or less Together w.th all Dwelling houses Messuages Buildings Barnes Stables Gardins Orchards outhouses profitts Comodityes advantages & appurtenances whatsoever to the same parcell of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining And all Pattents Deeds Writeings & Evidence Touching the same or any p.t thereof To have and To hold all the said pcell of Land & p.rmisses w.th the appurtences unto the s.d Jn.o Low & George Dent their heirs & Assigns forever to the only proper use & behoofe of the said Jn.o Low & George Dent their heirs & assigns forever And the said William |
