761 779 River and on the North side of the Northmost Great branch Makeing out of the head of Spriggs Creeke begining at A Little Marsh on y.e south side of back River and runs southerly from y.e s.d Marsh up A Little branch to A Little sandy vally that his old Cart Road Goes Thorough A Little A bove the plantacon formerly belonging to the said Sprigg and Now to the possession of David Evans of S.t Maryes County And from thence Downe A Little Branch on the south side of the Cart Road A Long with the said branch till it intersects the norther most great branch issueing out of the head of Spriggs Creek or Called the Cabin branch And from thence runing westerly up the said branch to A bounded hickory standing by S.t Maryes path bounding A parcell of Land formerly sold by the s.d Sprigg to Thomas Clark And from thence Runing up S.t Maryes path towards the Mannor house till it is interrupted with the Mayne branch Issueing out of the head of Back River And from thence Down with the said branch easterly to the head of back river And from thence Down the back River to the aforesaid little Marsh Containeing two hundred and Fifty Acres More or Less to have and to hold with all rights and priveledges and appurtenances there unto belonging or appertaineing to the s.d two hundred and Fifty Acres of Land with all houses buildings orchards Gardens fences timber woods under woods trees shrubs brush with all wayes easements or appertenances thereunto belonging or appertaineing to the said two hundred and Fifty Acres of Land And further wee Doe Covenant and agree to and with the said John Nuthall his heires & Assignes for ever to acquit and Discharge him the said John Nutthall his heirs or assignes or any of them from all Rents and services dew from the said Land for ever hee or they paying yearly & every yeare at the feast of the Annuntiacon of our blessed Lord and Savior or within tenne dayes after the sume of two shillings six pence sterling money to the afd Thomas Sprigg his heires or Assignes or whom he or they shall impower to Acquitt and Discharge the same And we Doe Covenant and agree to and with the said John Nuthall his heirs or assignes that they shall both now & forever peacably injoy and hold the afd two hundred and Fifty Acres of Land to his or their use or uses with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or appartaineing from us and our heirs to him his heirs or assignes for ever to have and to hold the same In full and ample manner for ever to him his heirs or assignes from us or our heirs or from any person or persons whatsoever Claimeing from by or und.r us or our heirs And further Wee Doe agree to and with the said Nuthall his heirs or assignes that wee will at any time within the space of seaven years at the Request and proper Cost and Charges in the Law of him the s.d John Nuthall his heirs or assignes Make him or they A More sure title in the Law as he or they shall advise with |
