       and Mayor and the Aldermen of the City of London send Greeting
       Know Yee that on y.e day of y.e Date hereof in his Maj.ties Court holden before
       us in the Chamb.r of the Guild hall of the s.d Citty personally Came &
       appeared Phillip Rogerson Cityson and Carpenter of London aged Forty five
       years or thereabouts being A person well Know and worthy of good
       Creditt And Did by solemn Oath w.ch he tooke upon the holy Evangilist
       of allmighty God before us then and there solemnly Declare Testifie
       and Depose to be true That he this Deponant was present & Did
       soe John Charlett of Priours Cleeve in y.e County of Worchester Husbandman
       And the onely Brother & heire of Richard Charlet late of the province
       of Maryland in the County of Calvert on Puttuxant River in Swensory
       Creeke Merchant Decd And Mary the wife of the said John Charlet
       Richard Kings of London Wyre Drawer and Katherine his Wife John Salter
       of Priour Cleeve afd Husbandman and Mary his wife and Nathan.ll
       Bryan of London Gent and Frances his Wife Which sd Katherine
       Mary and Frances Ware three of the sisters of he sd Richard Charlett
       at y.e time of his Death seale and as their Acts and Deeds Deliver to y.e
       use of Edward Carleton of London merchant the Three severall Deeds or
       Indentures now produced And shewn unto him this Deponant faire &
       uncancelled the one being A Deed of Lease for A yeare of three plantacons
       Containing by Estimacon Nine hundred Acres be y.e same more or
       Less scituate Lyeing and being in y.e s.d County of Calvert in
       Puttuxant River in y.e s.d province of Maryland which late ware of
       the proper Estate of the said Richard Charlett Decd and all the
