       Know all men by these p.rsents that I Francis Armstrong of the County of
       Calvert within the Province of Mereland for Consideracon me thereunto
       moving doe by these p.rsents and with the Consent of my Wife
       Frances Armstrong make true and lawfull sale unto William Johnson
       of Virginia Gent and in the County of Rappahanock one parcell of
       Land lying and being within the province of Maryland within
       the River of Choptanck and near upon the head of a Creeke called the
       dividing Creeke one parcell of Land all Containing three hundred Acres
       being the upper part of a Pattent Containing five hundred Acres
       granted unto me the foresaid Francis Armstrong and adjoyning unto
       the Land of John Nevell and the Land of James Forbuck This Land
       hereafore menconed I the foresaid Francis Armstrong doe by vertue
       of my pattent make firm sale unto the forenamed W.m Johnson
       To have and to hold the foresaid Land unto him the said Johnson his
       heirs Executo.rs Administrato.rs or Assignes for ever and to acknowledge
       this Deed of Sale according to the known laws of this Province and to
       deliver a Pattent for the land foremenconed unto the foresd Johnson
       or his Assignes within five moneths after this p.rsent date In witness
       hereof I the above named Francis Armstrong have hereunto set my
       hand and seale this 16.th Novemb.r 1663
       in the p.rsence of                                             his mark

       This witnesseth That I William Johnson doe assigne all my Right and
       Title of this Conveyance unto John Edmondson his heirs and Assignes

       To All Christian people to whom this p.rsent writeing shall Come That I John
       Hammond Esq.r of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland send greeting
       Know ye that I the said John Hammond doe for the Love Good Will & affection
       which I have and bear towards my Neighbours of Westminster Parish in Ann
       Arundell County on the North side of Ann Arundell River Have Given & Granted
       and by these p.rsents Doe freely Give and Grant to the said Parishioners of the
       aforesaid parish Two hundred foot of Square Land out of my divident
       known by the name of Deep Creeke poynt for to erect and build a Church
       house and Vestry house on for the use of the said parishioners to them and
       their Successo.rs for ever pursuant to an Act of Assembly made the Eighth
       day of May An.o sixteen hundred Ninety Five Intituled An Additionall Act to
       the Act of Religion (Royall Monies and the Rents due to the Chief Lord or Lords
       of the Fee only excepted) Alsoe I give Grant and Lett over all my Right Title &
       Interest of the aforesaid Land from me my heirs Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assignes for ever
       absolutely without any manner of Condicon Whereof I the sd John Hammond Sen.r have
       hereunto sett my hand and seale this Eighth day of February in the year
       of our Lord God One Thousand six hundred Ninety and Six
