732 (722) Aug.t 15 1695 Then came before us under written Tho Burford Attorney of the within named Thomas Baker and on behalf of the said Thomas Baker by virtue of a letter of Attorny from the said Tho Baker to him acknowledged this Deed of Decl or Confirmacon to be the Act and Deed of the said Thomas Baker and the lands and tenements within menconed to be the right of the said W.m Dent and his heirs and Assignes according to the teno.r of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly Taken and Acknowledged before us Robert Smyth Edward Jones Record 2 Sep.t 1695 The hono.ble Joseph Blake Esq.r Land grave & Govern.r of all Carolina that part of the Province of Carrolina that Lyes south and West of Cape Fare To all to whome these p.rsents shall or may Concerne or to Whome the same shall Come to be seen or Read sendeth Greetting Know Yee that on the day of the Date hereof Psonally Came & appeard before me M.rs Elizabeth Cattell aged forty Years on thereabouts being one of the Daughters of Cap.t William Fuller Law of this Province Deceased and made oath that she does know William Fuller the bearer hereof aged twenty two Years to be the sonn and heir of the said Cap.t William Fuller who lived on Rich Neck on Sivern River in Maryland In Testimony whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Caused the Publick seale of the Province to be hereunto affixed this 10.th day of July In the seaaventh Year of the Reign of our soveraign Lord William by the Grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland King Defender of the Fatith &.ca Annoq.r Domi one thousand six hundred Ninety & five Morgent Signed & Sealed in the Joseph Blake p.rsence of William Porter On the Back of the said attestacon ^In Testamoniall^ was thus Indorsed Samuel Gunn John Mesert By his Ex.elcy the Govern.r October the 8.th 1695 Upon Motion Made by the Within Names William Fuller that a Record and Entry might be made of the within Testamoniall produced unto his Ex.ncy It was thereupon Ordered that the same he Entered Accordingly in the Councill Book & Provinciall Office Signed P Order Hen Denton Cl Concil Bideford 8.ber 22.th 1695 Davies This accompanies our friend Cap.t Thomas Marshall to whom have given o.r Letter of Attorney and have Constituted him our friend to receive from your self and others all things partaining to us in said province which we desire you will Comply with in doing which you will oblige yo.r humble serv.ts In Davies John Buck Dan.ll Darracott Maryland John Langford |
