640 (630 This Indenture made the fourteenth day of November A.o 1689 Between George Thompson of Satt Maryes County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one part and Thomas Bactson of the said County and Province Planter of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said George Thompson for and in Consideracon of six thousand pounds of tobacco to him in hand payd before the sealing and delivering of these Presents by the said Thomas Bactson Well and truly payd the Recept whereof hee the said George Thompson doth hearby acknowledge and himselfe there with fully satisfied Contented and payd thereof and of every Part and parcell thereof doth fully Clearly & Absolutly Acquitt discharge exonerate and Releas the said Thomas Bactson his heires Executo.rs Administ and Assignes for ever and by these Presents hath Given Granted Aliened Bargained Sould Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth freely Cleerly and Absolutly Give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said Thomas Bactson his heires Executo.rs Administrato.rs and assignes for ever from him the said George Thompson his heires Execut.rs Administrato.rs and assignes for ever all that Parcell of land lying situating and being in the Said Countye and Province aforesaid Caled the Trophy begining at A Bounded Oake in the Woods the Northermost bound tree of A parcell of Land Called the Ayrie Runing thence South & bee East Sixtie four Pearches to A bounded Chestnut standing at the End of their North North West line of Cow Ridge and binding with the said Land West South West one hundred and sixty Perches to a bounded Chestnut of the said land then South South East fifty Perches to A bounded Oake A Bounded tree of Cowridge then West South West thirty Pearches to a bounded Oake unto A parcell of Land Called Chelsey formarly survayed for the Said Thompson thence North and by West with the said Land and Matopanie Old Road and to a bounded Read Oake on the North side of Charles Strong Spring branch one hundred and fiftie nine pearches untill it intersects A parcell of land formarly layd out for M.r Barnebie Jackson Called the Adition thence with a straight line East fifteen degrees Northerly to the first bound tree Containing one hundred Acres More or Less to be holden of the Manner of West S.t Maryes With all and singular its Rights Jurisdictions and Appurtenances together with all howses Edifices Building Barnes stables Hoge and Tobacco Profitts Commodities Common of Pasture Hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the said Masuge tenement or Premises or to any Part or Parcell of them belonging or in any manner of ways appartaining To have & hould the said Parcell of land and all and singular the Premisses hereby granted bargained and sould with their and everie of their Rights Members and Appurtenances whatsoever unto the sayd Thomas Batson his heires Execut.rs Administrat.rs and Asignes for ever and to his and their use and behoofe for ever & the said George Thompson for himselfe his heirs Executors and Administrat.rs doth hearby Promise Assuer Affirm Aver Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said Thomas Bactson his heires Execut.rs Administrato.rs and Assignes at the time of the sealing and delivery of these presents that the said Land and Premisses a good puer parfect Estate of Inheritance in fee simple is doth Affirme Alleage and Aver without any Condition revertion Remainder or Limittation of any use or uses Estate or Estates in or to any Parson or Parsons whatsoever to alter change defeat determine or make voyd the Same and that the said George Thompson at the time of the signing sealing and delivery hereof A Lawfull authority to Give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Convay all and Singular the before granted Premisses with their and every of their Rights Members Jurisdictions and Appartenances Whatsoever unto y.e said |
