638 (628 July 17.th 1690 Then Came John Evans and Thomas Grunwin before us John Watson and John Llewellin two of their Maj.ties Justices of the peace for the County of S.t Maryes & Made Oath that they the witnesses hereunto Subscribed did see the above written John Conant Seale and deliver the above written Instrum.t as his act and deed to the use and purpose therein Mentioned and Conteined Jurat die ann supra dict coram Nobis John Watson John Llewellin Know all men by these p.rsents that I John Winslow ^of Boston^ in New England Executor of the late Will and Testemen.t of my father John Winslow Marchant of aforesaid Boston decd have made ordeigned Constituted and appointed and by these present do make ordeigne Constitute and appoint my trusty and well beloved frind M.r Richard Cloud of S.t Maryes County in Province of Maryland my true and lawfull attourney for mee and in my name as aforesd and to my use to ask demand recover and receive all such sum or sums of Money due unto me either by Bill Bond debt booke or upon any other accompt whatsoever from all parsons whatsoever and upon Refusall or Nonpayment hereof the same to attach arrest Imprison Implead and Condemn and upon receipt of any such sum or sumes the same to Release acquitt finally for me and in my name and I do hereby further authorize and impower my said attorney to substitue one or more attorneys under him to act and doe in the p.rmises from tim to tim and the same to Recall and others In theire steed Impower from time to time as he in his Wisdom thinke meete Giving and by these presents granting unto my abovesaid attorney my full whole and absolute power and authority in and above the p.rmisses Ratifying Confirming and allowing all and every thing or things with my said attorney shall lawfully doe or Cause to be done in the above mentioned Premisses as fully and amply as if I my selfe were there personally present In Wittnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this twenty eight day of Aprill one thousand six hundred ninty and two John Winslow (seale) Testes Joshua Doyne Henry Wriothesley Provinciall Court May 5.th 1693 Came the above named Joshua Doye into open Court and Made Oath that he saw the said John Winslow signe seale and deliver the above menconed letter of attorney as his act and deed W Taylard Clk Know all Men by these presents that I William Arbuckle of Glasgow in the Kingdom of Scotland Merchant Have assigned ordained and made in my steed and pleace By these presents put and Constitued my trusty friend M.r Nathannell Davis of Londondery in the Kingdom of Ireland Merchand to be my true Suficient and lawfull attorney Given and hereby Granting unto my said attorney full Power Lawfull authority and speciall Charge For me and in my name and to my use to ask demand sue for |
