618 (608 part thereof received by the sd Thomas Conwallis on or about the second day of February 1673 is Still remaine unpaid and the said Penelope Cornwallis for her selfe her heires and Assignes and for every of them doth further covenant grant and agree to & with the sd Edward Pye his heires and assignes by these p.rsents that the sd Penelope Cornwalis & her heires and all and every other p.rson or p.rsons any estate chalenge clayme or demand haveing or clayming or which hereafter shall or may Lawfully have or pretend to have or Clayme of in unto or out of the p.rmisses or any part thereof by from or under her the sd Penelope Cornwallis or by from or under the sd Thomas Cornwallis deceased or by from or under either of them shall and will at all or any time or times hereafter dureing the space of seaven yeares from the day of the date of these p.rsents to be accompted at the reasonable request and at the costs & charges in the law of the sd Edward Pye his heires or assignes make doe grant execute levy and passe or cause & procure to be made done executed Levyed and passed all & every such further and other Act and Acts thing and things device and devices conveyances and assureances in the law whatsoever for the further better and more p.rfect conveing assureing & confirming of all and singular the p.rmisses with the appurtenances unto the sd Edward Pye his heires and Assignes and that by such wayes & meanes and in such manner & forme as by the sd Edward Pye his heyres or Assignes or by his or their councell learned in the laws shall be reasonably devised or advised and required soe as the sd Penelope Cornwallis or her heires or such other p.rson or p.rsons who shall be required by vertue hereof to make any further assureance be not compelled for the doeing thereof to travell from her or their respective dwelling houses or places of aboade for the time being further then the cityes of London and Westminster or one of them and soe as in such further conveyance or assureances there be conteyned noe further or other warrant or covenants then are conteyned in these p.rsents And this Indenture Witnesseth That the sd Penelope Cornwallis doth hereby make ordaine constitute and appoint Thomas Grunwin of S.t Maryes County in the sd Province of Maryland her true & Lawfull attorney and assignee for her & in her name To acknowledge this her deed before the Right hon.ble the Lord Baltemore Governour of the sd Province of Maryland or before such other p.rson or p.rsons as doe usually take cognizance of Deeds of lands in the sd Province of Maryland in order to the enrollment of the same and that the sd Penelope Cornwallis shall and will hold and allow for firme & effectuall all and whatsoever her sd attorney shall Lawfully doe or cause to be done by vertue hereof In Witness whereof the parties afsd to these p.rsents interchangeably have putt their hands & seales the day & yeare first above writen Sealed & Delivered in Penelope Cornwallis (sealed) the p.rsence of us Tho Hasted on the back of the sd Deed was endorsed as foll W.m Burnham Jn.o Harris Guil Scorey Not Pubb The 20.th day of |
