558 (548 the said Andrew hath paid to the said Richard one hundred pounds sterling and Forty thousand pounds of tobacco Taking acknowledged the Day & yeare above written before us Tho Tasker James Keech Then Came before us und.r written two of theire Maj.ties Justices for Calvert County Mary Keene (wife of the sd Richard Keene) who being taken apart by the sd Justices and soley and secretly Examined shee thereupon doth freely & of her owne accord acknowldge the within written deed according to the uses intents & purposes therein Menconed & Expressed Int.r 26.th Aprill 1692 W Taylard Clk This Indenture made the first day of December in the third yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord & Lady William and Mary by the Grace of God King & Queene of England Scotland France and Ireland Defenders of the Faith &c Betweene Daniel Moy of S.t Maryes County Sonne & heire of Richard Moy of the Same County Deceased on the one part And Walter Taylor of the same County of S.t Maryes Planter on ther part Witnesseth That for and in Consideracon of the sum of Five Thousand pounds of Tobacco to him the said Daniel in hand paid & before the Ensealing hereof by the said Walter Taylor the receipt whereof doth he the said Daniell Doth hereby acknowledge & himselfe to be thereof & therewith fully sattisfyed & thereof & of every part thereof doth clearly acquitt exonerate & discharge the said Walter Taylor his Execut.rs & Administrat.rs & every of them by these p.rsents Hee the said Daniell Moy Hath demised granted set & to farme lett and by these p.rsents doth demise grant set & to farme lett unto the said Walter Taylor All that tract or p.rcell of land Lying in S.t Maryes County part of the said Daniell Moy Land & surveyed by Consent of both parties by William Asquith & Thomas Price Sen.r two of the Neighbourhood Begining at a bounded Poplar at the bothem of a Gulley Neere a Creeke side Called Hunting Creeke & Runing Southeast & by South Ninety eight perches to a Marked Spanish Oake & from thence West & by North Seaventy three perches to a Marked Spanish Oake & from thence North & by west thirty four perches & from thence North west twenty six perches to a bounded Spanish Oake Standing upon the banke Neere the said Creeke side & from thence bounding upon the said Creeke till it Meets with the First bounded Poplar Conteyning and layd out for sixty Acres be the same More or Lesse And all wayes Easements proffitts priviledges Emolum.ts & Appurtenances to the said premisses belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said sixty acres & appurtenances hereby Demised unto the said Walter Taylor his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes from S.t Michaell the Archangell last past before the date of these presents unto the full end & tearme of Ninety Nine Yeares from thence Next Ensueing & fully to be compleate & Ended Yeilding and paying therefore Yearly and in Every Yeare during the said Tearme of Ninty Nine yeares hereby granted unto the said Daniell Moy his heires & Assignes at the feast of the birth of our Lord god in Every Yeare the Rent of One Eare of Indian Corne (if the same be Lawfully demanded) And the said Daniell Moy for him his heires Ex.rs & Adm.rs & for every of them doth Covenant grant & Agree to & w.th the said Walter Taylor his Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes by these psents That he the said Daniell at the time of the Ensealing hereof is the true and Lawfull owner of the p.rmisses and seized of the same in a good sure |
