       That whereas the abovesaid Tract or dividend of Land being soe Run out and
       divided as abovesaid the said George Hawes for himselfe his Heires & Assignes
       for and in Consideracon of the just sum & full Quantity of Thirty Guineas
       in hand paid or secured to be paid before the Ensealing & Delivery of these
       Presents by the said George Hawes to the said Michaell Holmes the Receipt
       thereof the said Michaell Holmes doth hereby acknowledge & of every part
       & pcell thereof doth hereby fully acquitt & discharge the said George Hawes
       his Heires & Assignes for ever The said George Hawes for the Consideracon
       abovesaid hath made Choise and Elected that one halfe & moiety of the
       abovesaid Tract or dividend of Land Called Letchworths Chance which
       lyeth on the East side of the Divisionall lyne above menconed which hee
       the said George Hawes for himselfe his Heires and Assignes is therewith
       fully sattisfied & Contented In Wittness whereof the said George Hawes
       & Michaell Holmes hath to a pare of these agreements Interchangeably sett
       their Hands & seales this 26.th Day of February 1688

          This Indenture Made the Eight and Twentieth Day of February
       Anno 1687 Between Thomas Gwyther of S.t Maries County in the Province of
       Maryland Gen.t of the one part and William Hill of the said County and Province
       Planter of the other part wittnesseth that the said Thomas Gwither for and in Consideracon
       of the sum of Two Thousand Five hundred Pounds of Tobacco to him in hand
       before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents by the said William Hill well &
       truely paid the Receipt whereof hee the said Thomas Gwither doth hereby
       acknowledge and himselfe therewith fully sattisfied Contented and Paid
       thereof and every part and parcell thereof doth Clearly Acquitt Exonerate and
       Discharge the said William Hill his Heires Executors & Adm.rs for Ever by these
       Presents hath Give Graunted Aliened Bargained Sold Enffeoffed & Confirmed
       And by these Presents doe fully Clearly and Absolutely Give Grant Bargaine
       Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said William Hill his Heires Ex.rs
       Adm.rs & Assignes for ever from him the said Thomas Gwither his Heires Ex.rs
       Adm.rs and Assignes for Ever All that pcell of Land lyeing scituteing and being
       in Talbott County and on the south side of Chester River of and on the western
       side of a Branch of the said River Called by the name of Red Lyon Branch in
       the Province of Maryland aforesaid Beginning at a Marked white oake
       of the Land of William Gwither & Running for breadth up the Branch south &
