525) 535 Elias & Elizabeth more Especially moveing hath given Granted and by these presents doth fully Clearly and absolutely Give Grant bargaine and sell Alien Enffeofe and Confirme from them and their Heires unto him the said Richard his Heires or his Assignes for ever All that pcell or Tract of Land being part of the Reserection Mannor Lying on the south side of puttuxon River & on the south side of & Arm of the said River Called the back River Commonly called watts neck bounded with a Creek Called Reeds Creeke at the head of a Cove called patersons Cove into the woods to a white lake in a Huckleberry swamp west with & outlett into the woods from the said Land containeing in the whole Two hundred & fifty acres bee it more or less together with all and singular the rights proffitts & benefitts thereunto belonging (Royall Mines Excepted) To have and to hold the said Two hundred & Fifty Acres of Land and all other the bargained unto him the said Richard Ridgell his Heires or his Assignes for Ever free and Clear & freely & Clearly Acquitted Exonerated and Discharged of and from all other & former Gifts Grantes Bargaines Sales Leases forfeitures joyntures surenders judgements Execucons Ceisures Rents & Arrearages of Rents the Rents & services w.ch henceforth shall grow due & payable to the Cheife Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees onely Excepted & foreprized And further the said Elias & Elizabeth doth for themselves & their Heires hereby Releas all the whole Estate Right Title & Interest Claime & Demand whatsoever they now have may might or of Right ought to have unto him the said Richard Ridgell or his Assignes for ever And doe by these presents bind themselves and their Heires to save Defend & keep harmless the said Richard Ridgell his Heires or his Assignes against all manner of psons whatsoever & peaceably To have hold use & enjoy the said Two Hundred Acres of Land and all other the bargained premisses unto him the said Richard Ridgell his Heires or his Assignes for Ever according to the true intent & meaning of these presents and further at the reasonable request and Cost & charges in the Law of him the said Richard Ridgell his Heires or Assignes the said Elias & Elizabeth their Heires Executors Administrators shall make any further Assureance or Assureances Conveyance or Conveyances requisite in the premisses as his the said Richard Ridgell his Heires his or their Councill Learned in the Law shall Reasonably require at any time within the space of seaven yeares now next Ensueing And further the said Elias & Elizabeth doth by these presents make Ordaine Constitute & appoint our trusty friend John Nutthall of Calvert County to be our true & Lawfull Attorney in our stead & place to acknowledge unto the above Richard Ridgell his Heires or his Assignes the above Two hundred & fifty Acres of Land scituate in Calvert County to be acknowledged in the said County Court when thereunto required according to Law hold firme & taple whatsomever our said Attorney shall doe or Lawfully ^cause^ to be done on our part and behalfe as if our selves were psonally present and Irevoakable In Wittnesse whereof wee have hereunto sett our hand & seales the Day & year first above written Elias Nutthall (sealed Sealed and Delivered Eliz.a + Nutthall (sealed in the Presence of us her marke Robert Smith Flo Sallivane The within Deed was proved in Open Court to bee the Act & Deed of the within named Elias Nutthall & Elizabeth Nutthall by the wittnes thereunto subscribed this 22.th Day of June 1688 Proved in Open Court Nic.o Lowe Clk |
