491) 501 As alsoe for and In consideracon of the full sume & just quantity of Tenn Thousand seaven Hundred Twenty & Two pounds of good sound & every way well Condiconed Merchantable Tobaccoe & Casque to him in hand well & truely paid by the said John Abington at & before the Insealing & delivery of these Presents The receipt whereof he the said Henry Jowles doth hereby acknowledge and himselfe therewith fully sattisfyed contented & paid And thereof and every part & pcell thereof doth hereby clerely acquitt Exonerate & discharge the said John Abington his Heires Executo.rs & Adm.rs by these presents hath granted bargained sold demised sett & to farme letten unto the said John Abington his Heires & Assignes for ever all that pcell of Land called Expectacon lyeing in Calvert County neere the Clifts in the woods in the branches of a Creeke of Patuxant River called Hunting Creeke Begining at the south East corner Tree of the Land of Thomas Trueman called Truemans chance and bounding on the East with a lyne drawne west from the said oake One Hundred & sixty pches to a marked pockicory Then by a lyne drawne one Hundred & sixty pches to an other pockicory Then by a lyne drawne North by East from the said pockicory One Hundred & fifty pches to the Land called Truemans Chance bounding on the North by the said Land to the first Marked Oake Containeing & laid out for Three Hundred & fifty Acres of Land more or lesse togeather with all rights profitts & benefitts thereunto belonging (Royall Mines Excepted) And alsoe all that one other Tract or pcell of Land called the Collonell or Brigade lyeing in Calvert County on the west side of the westerne branch of Patuxant River in the woods and begining at a bounded oake in a lyne of a pcell of Land laid out for Cap.t Richard Gardner and runing west by the said Land for the length of three Hundred & Twenty pches to a marked hickory of the said Land Then from the said Hickory south for the length of One Hundred Twenty five pches to a marked oake Then East for the length of Three Hundred & Twenty pches to a paralell And soe to the first bounded Tree Containeing & laid out for Three Hundred Acres more or less according to the Certificate of survey thereof taken & retourned into the land office at the City of S.t Maries bearing date the seaventh Day of March One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty & One and there remaineing upon Record Together with all rights profitts benefitts & priviledges thereunto belonging (Royall Mynes Excepted) Togeather alsoe with all & singular the Messuages Tenements dwelling houses Edifices buildings Yards Gardens Orchards wayes passages Easements proffitts Comodities Hereditaments & appurtenances whatsoever to the said two severall Tracts or pcells of land belonging or in any wise apperteining And the reversion & reversions remainder & remainders Estate & Interest of him |
