440 (430 This Indenture Made the one & twentieth day of february in the seaventh ÿear of the Dominion of Charles absolute Lord & proprietarÿ of the provinces of Marÿland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c annoq.r Dm 1686/7 Between Robert Mason of S.t Marÿes Countÿ in the province off $2.50 Mariland of the one Part and John Biscoe of the aforsaid Countÿ and Province of the other Part Wittnesseth that the said Robert Mason for and in Consideration of the Just quantitÿ sixteene thousand pounds of good tobacco and Caske to him paid before the sealing and Deliverÿ hereof bÿ the said John Biscoe The Receipt whereof the said Robert Mason doth hereby acknowledge and himselfe there w.th fullÿ satisfied Contented and paid and thereof and Everÿ Part and pcell therof Doth herebÿ absolutelÿ and Clearlÿ Exonorate acquit and discharge the said John Biscoe his heires Ex.rs and adm.rs for Ever Bÿ these p.rsents hath Given granted Bargained aliened sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these p.rsents Doth fully Clearly and absolutelÿ given grant Bargaine alien sell Enfeoffe and Confirme unto him the said John Biscoe his heires & assignes for Ever all his Right title and Interest of that p.rcell or tract of Land scituated Lÿing and being to the Westward of the cleare ground of William Asbestons plantation upon Deep Creeke in S.t Michaell hundred Begining att a Marked Gum Near adjoined to the Line of James Lewes and Runing East south Eeast unto a Marked White oake Near unto the orchard of said William Asbeston Not far Distant from a bounded Pine of the said Asbestons plantation and from the afsd oake unto a Marked sassafrax from thence to a Marked Locus from thence to a Marked Dogwood from thence to a Marked White oake from thence to a Marked Chesnut neare Wpon Deep Creeke all w.ch six Last Mentioned Trees Lÿing along the Clear ground of the said William Asbestons plantation and Runing from the aforsaid Chesnutt on the Maÿne Branch of Deep Creeke Due west unto a Marked Pickeckerÿ from thence up said Branch to a Marked white oake and from thence Runing south south Eeast to the first Mentioned Gum Containing and Now Laid out for fiftÿ acres More or Less and Likewise all thatt Parcell or tract of Land scituated Lÿing & being on the North side of the aforsaid Branch Maÿne Branch off Deepe Creeke in the aforsaid hundred and Countÿ formerly belonging unto the honorable W.m Calvert Esq.r butt since seized and Invested by the above Robert Masson being bounded as followes from a bounded Marked white oake from thence south on the North side of said branch of Deep Creeke Runing Northwest one hundred and fourteen Perches to a Marked Pickickerÿ from thence south west and be west sixtÿ Nine Perches to a Marked White oake from thence south East and be south sixtÿ three perches to a Marked Red oake upon the head of the afore Mentioned branch of Deep Creeke from thence Nintÿ Nine Perches East downe the said Branch unto the first Bounden oake Conteÿning and |
